Dino Di Donato is owner of Market Street Center for Psychotherapy in San Francisco. Drawing on decades of experience in his field as well as a singular commitment to the well-being of his patients, Dino Di Donato works with couples and individuals on issues including mood disorders, anxiety- and stress-related problems, sexuality, and surviving abuse. Dino Di Donato specializes in the use of mindfulness in combination with somatic, existential, and cognitive behavioral therapies. In particular, Dino Di Donato supports patients in developing the skills required to use the energy generated by their emotions to live life more fully. Prior to his work with Market Street Center for Psychotherapy, Dino Di Donato garnered expertise as a Psychotherapist at North County Mental Health in San Mateo County. Dino Di Donato completed his training as a Marriage and Family Therapist at San Francisco State University and received his Master of Science in Counseling from the same institution in 2000. Dino Di Donato has studied with Carl Rogers and is expert in Gestalt therapy and mindfulness-based stress reduction, among other psychotherapeutic methodologies. A Lecturer at San Francisco State since 2006, Dino Di Donato holds two additional degrees, a Master of Education in Counseling from Saint Lawrence University and a Bachelor of Arts from Marietta College. Dino Di Donato belongs to the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), the Society for the Exploration of Psychotherapy Integration (SEPI), and the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Psychotherapist Association (GAYLESTA).
